Warranty Information
West Quebec Shed Company identified as (WQ) limited warranty program is to ensure our customers of the quality we maintain with all our buildings including custom built storage building, cottages, gazebos, and animal shelters.
- WQ limited warranty covers all material and workmanship to all our manufacturing of buildings for a period of 12 months (1 Year) upon the delivery and installation of your building.
- WQ will repair your building, including custom buildings, at no cost, in addition to replacement of new or refurbished replacement parts. WQ limited warranty shall not include conditions of buildings constructed with milled pine wood that can create splitting, cracks or loose knots that can occur during the drying process. Note: Milled pine is a wet wood. Prior to delivery we recommend inspecting your building at our shed yard to approve the quality of materials that meets your total satisfaction.
- In addition to WQ limited warranty also includes any other manufacturer warranties of building using pre-manufactured products warranted by the manufacturer.
- To obtain WQ warranty service, the purchaser must first contact WQ within 30 days of discovery to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution to rectify or replace faulty materials or workmanship.
- WQ limited warranty is not transferable to other persons and is provided to the original WQ purchaser.
- 6. This warranty shall not apply to materials or parts thereof:
a) which have been subject to abuse, misuse, negligence or accident;
b) to which any modification, alteration or attachment to the original building has been made by others, including damage caused by natural disaster including lightning, tornado’s, hurricanes, hailstones, earthquakes, explosion, falling trees or branches, rocks, flooding or any other causes with the exception of ordinary wear and tear by normal elements.
c) Any building damages caused by ground settling, movement or foundation cracking or the movement of natural stone pads.
- WQ customer must be cooperative with WQ to allow access to the customers property to inspect, determine the problem and for WQ to assess to make the necessary correction or repair.
- WQ is in full cooperation to evaluate the correction or repair in a timely period.
- Any cost incurred by the customer of repairing or replacing that is not authorized in writing by WQ. No action breaching WQ limited warranty or any other action against WQ that relates or arises from the customers building, shall be brought to WQ attention no later than the 1-year limited warranty period after any cause of action has accrued.
WQ LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Should any part of WQ limited warranty be found to be unenforceable for any reason whatsoever, it shall not affect the enforce ability or validity of the remaining sections. This limited warranty replaces any and all other oral or written warranties, liabilities or obligations of WQ. There are no other warranties which extend beyond the limited warranty described in this disclaimer.
